WHAT IS LIFE COMPASS ARTS?

Life Compass Arts is a cornerstone ministry of Life Compass Church designed to inspire and develop creativity, relationships, and faith in students and their families. Students and families are given the option of a variety of subjects to learn, ranging from guitar to art. In a classroom with a few other students and one of our qualified volunteer instructors, they receive weekly instruction in their subject of choice.

Students involved in musical lessons are given an instrument at the beginning of the semester that they will keep at the completion of the course with no cost to the families. Students in art will have projects to take home and to be displayed around the church building.

In addition to creative instruction, we teach the principles and truths of the Bible through creative video teaching from Amazing Life. Aided by our core leaders, we talk about what it means to know and follow God. It is our hope to surround young students with believers who love God and love each other in the community.

When Does LCA happen?
Classes begin in September and conclude with a recital/art show in April.

LCA runs on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm.
Recording Studio will take place on Tuesday Evenings, 6:30-8:00pm.
Students and families will be notified of cancellations or changes in schedule.

What classes will be offered in 2026-2027?
LCA expects to host musical instrument classes for guitar, piano, drum, voice, ukulele, recording studio, and art classes.

How old does my child have to be to attend LCA?
Most of our classes are offered beginning in 3rd grade and starting up to 8th grade. These include all music and art classes.
Recording studio includes grades 6th-12th.

Do I have to pay to be involved in LCA?
Not at all! Everything that Life Compass provides is entirely free to students and families. Instruments and materials are supplied through the church and students are given the instrument at the conclusion of one year of involvement.
